TVLine.com reports that Britne Oldford has joined the cast of FX's AMERICAN HORROR STORY's second season. The actress will join previously announced Season 2 guest stars Chloe Sevigny, Adam Levine,  Lizzie Brochere,  Joseph Fiennes and Oscar nominee James Cromwell.

Oldford will portray Alma, most likely a patient admitted into the show's institute for the criminally insane. Jessica Lange, who stars as the head of the mental hospital, will return along with Season one regulars Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson and Lily Rabe, however the cast will all take on new identities in the upcoming season.

Explains series co-creator Ryan Murphy, "Everybody is playing the opposite of what they played last year, which I think is why they’re all so into it.”

Oldford is best known for her role as Cadie in MTV's adaptation of the British teen drama Skins.
