Blake Shelton, the reigning and five-time CMA male vocalist of the year, will perform "Lonely Tonight," his new single with Ashley Monroe, on the Monday, Dec. 8 telecast (8-10 p.m. ET/PT) of NBC's Emmy Award-winning series "The Voice."

Shelton, who is the winningest coach on "The Voice," has 18 #1 singles. His most recent and ninth studio album, "Bringing Back the Sunshine," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard top 200 and top country albums charts. The first single from the album, "Neon Light," became Blake's 13th consecutive #1 single, the most by any country artist in the modern era.

Through the season's opening nine weeks, "The Voice" ranks as television's #1 reality series in adults 18-49 and all other key demographics, with its Monday and Tuesday editions combining to average a 4.3 rating, 13 share in adults 18-49 and 14.0 million viewers overall in "most current" figures from Nielsen Media Research. The Monday edition is the #7 entertainment series on the Big 4 networks so far this season with a 4.5 average in 18-49, leading NBC's Monday schedule to the #1 ranking among Big 4 entertainment lineups so far this season.

"The Voice" is a presentation of United Artists Media Group (an MGM company), Talpa Media USA Inc. and Warner HORIZON Television. The series was created by John de Mol, who serves as executive producer along with Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Marc Jansen and Lee Metzger.
