Bill Paxton to Direct Upcoming KUNG FU Film?

According to Deadline, actor Bill Paxton is currently in talks to direct KUNG FU, which will be based on the 1972 TV show which starred David Carradine. Paxton has most recently been seen starring in the hit HBO series 'Big Love', which recently ended its run.

The actor has previously directed two other films, 'Frailty' and 'The Greatest Game Ever Played'. The script for KUNG FU will be penned by John McLaughlin and will come from Legendary Entertainment. Shooting is set to begin next summer and will take place in China.
