Barbara Hershey to Appear in ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME As Evil Queen's Mother

According to TVLine.com, Oscar nominated actress Barbara Hershey will be appearing in an upcoming episode of the ABC drama series ONCE UPON A TIME in the role of the mother of the Evil Queen.

In 1990, the actress received an Emmy and a Golden Globe award for her role in the TV movie 'A Killing in a Small Town. Hershey will first appear in the ABC fairytale drama in the role of 'Cora' later this season with the possiblity that her character may reappear in Season 2 of the show. 

The actress received her academy award nomination in 1996 for her role in 'The Portrait of a Lady'. She was recently seen on the big screen in last year's 'BLACK SWAN'. Her other film credits include The Last Temptation of Christ (as Mary Magdalene), Hannah and Her Sisters and Beaches.
