The investigation into B-613 is putting everyone's lives in peril. Are we going to lose one of our beloved gladiators by season's end? Maybe not a gladiator, but I have my suspicions it will be someone very dear.

Elizabeth has to debrief Mellie's sister, Harmony (Guest Star, Lauren Bowles), who is the product of Mellie's father and another woman. Needless to say, they don't get along. Mellie tries to make nice and invites her to the White House for an awkward dinner with Fitz. When the two sisters go at it over dinner, Fitz warns Mellie that she has to make things okay if she wants to be in politics. Mellie tells Fitz that it's his turn to be the "First Lady" who shows up and makes everyone happy. He dutifully does so and repairs their relationship, not to the point of besties, but at least tolerable.

Olivia is still in a "relationship" with "Russell" from the bar. She takes on a new case for a Congressman, Nicholas Reed. Nicholas' father, George, is facing execution for killing his daughter's math teacher. His daughter, and Nicholas' sister, Jamie, killed herself after her math teacher broke her heart and George when to prison for it. Olivia is out to prove George didn't do it per Nicholas' insistence. Their investigation leads them to the victim's ex-wife, Lisa, who has recently died from cancer. Olivia finds the gun that matches the shooting at Lisa's house, but quickly deduces that it's been planted and that George is covering for the Congressman who is the actual killer. Nicholas confesses and takes his father's place in prison.

David has Huck, Quinn and Charlie in line to testify against B-613, but Jake still isn't having it. David assembles former agents, Max, Margo and Simon all to testify against Jake in exhange for full immunity. They will be kept at a safe house. Charlie is on watch, but when he returns, Max, Margo and Simon are all dead. Jake had bugged David's office and can hear all their plans in great detail. Charlie decides that Jake must die. Huck agrees and eventually, so does a reluctant Quinn. As they try to track down Jake, they find him in the apartment across from Liv's and Jake warns them that Olivia will be fine if nothing happens to Jake. David decides to still pursue the case as he, himself, can testify against Jake since he witnessed him murder James and others. David's assistant Holly offers to walk him to his car. In the garage, Jake approaches them and kills Holly as she is the B-613 agent that killed the other agents and was going to kill David as well. Jake was protecting them all as he knows that they have waged war and Rowan will arrive soon.

Huck arrives to see Olivia to protect her from Jake. But surprise, surprise, Olivia was in on the whole thing too. She had been listening with Jake and helping him plan on protecting everyone from her dear, old Dad. And, speak of the devil, when Olivia answers her door a very nervous Russell has Rowan with him.

I know Jake isn't the best guy, borderline horrible, but even when they suggest that Scott Foley may be killed, I just don't like it. And I honestly don't like the thought of David Rosen in jeopardy either. I've always thought he is underused and brings a nice comic relief to the show. And speaking of comic relief, Charlie's one liners were killing me. He's hilariously weird... and therefore, I feel as though we may lose him soon.

I know I should care more about Mellie's storyline? I just don't. Bellamy Young is so amazing and I know this is important for women's rights and all that, but this plotline is just so dry compared to all the other things going on. I mean Cyrus' wedding last week was more exciting. I would rather get back to Huck's dynamic with his family or give Abby something to do that doesn't involve Leo, perhaps? (Yeah, still not digging that couple. Especially when David Rosen is in the world). Even if Rowan is the scariest character around, I am so happy to see Joe Morton back on the screen. TV is always just a little bit better when he is involved.

Lines I Love:

  • Charlie - Guess that means I've got first watch. Who's up for charades?

  • Harmony - How's it going with that prostitute of yours you got mixed up with? Cyrus - We got married, thanks for asking.

  • Huck - Do you wanna know what I would have done if that were my kid? Olivia & Quinn - NO!

  • Charlie - How sad were you when Radio Shack went under? Did you cry? Be honest.
