Patrick (Jonathan Groff) continues his affair with his boss (Russel Tovey) and Augustin (Frankie J. Alvarez) spirals out of control on tonight's episode, "Looking for Results." Take a gander, won't you?

We open in a sleezy hotel where Patrick and his boss Kevin have just finished knocking boots in the middle of the day. Patrick shares his first unobtainable crush (his dad's best friend Tony). Kevin's crush was the British boy band Take That and, in particular, their first video "Do What You Like."

Of course, Patricks (and the rest of the Americans watching) have no frame of reference as Take That never really hit it big here (Take That band member Robbie Williams tried to make a go of it with a solo career stateside, but never really got much traction).

Kevin describes the video as "literally the gayest thing ever" and he isn't exaggerating. Here's a still from the video:

Take That: "Do What You Like"

Kevin keeps going on about his childhood. He made a dance routine to the video. Patrick asks to see it, but Kevin declines. He's got some card game from his childhood with him, though (Everybody always bring a deck of cards to mid-day bootie calls, right?). It's called Top Trumps (see image below) and it's yet another thing British that hasn't really made it stateside. He's so into this card game, he's still talking about it with Patrick on the bus back into work. The decks even come in themes: Star Wars, Star Trek, even the royal family.

Top Trumps and and royals:
Two British things that just never caught on in America.

Patrick humors him, even offering to make a gay version of the cards, but for iPhones. Kevin agrees, but since their company technically owns every idea they generate while working at the video game company, the card game project --much like their affair-- must be kept on the downlow.

This being LOOKING, now is the time for Patrick to reveal something that will cause the relationship to self-destruct. Namely, that he has told Augustin and Dom (Murray Bartlett) about the affair. Kevin isn't thrilled (to say the least).

Back in the office, Patrick's co-worker Owen (Andrew Law) wonders where Patrick has been. He tells Owen he was at a movie. When Owen presses further, he rattles off a movie and an obscure movie house. Owen is shocked that Patrick doesn't realize that particular theater is known for its infestation of bed bugs.

Again, since this is LOOKING, we now cue Patrick's spiral for the week: yes, he wasn't at a movie theater, but he was at a sleezy motel and he spends the rest of the episode convinced he has either been bitten by bed bugs or has AIDS.

Kevin calls Patrick into his office as he sees him talking with Owen and he's concerned that Patrick has told another person. My money is on this affair not ending well and Patrick getting fired.

Augustin, Dom and Patrick meet at Patrick's for dinner later that night. Neither of them is too keen on Patrick's current relationship. Patrick assures them he knows what he is doing. His friends call it like they see it, though: Patrick is Kevin's dirty little secret.

From there, we head to a not-so-nice area of San Francisco and to the place where Dom thinks he's going to open his chicken restaurant (provided he come up with $80K). They then meet up for drinks with Dom's roommate Doris (Laureen Weedman). Augustin and Doris exchange barbs (she sarcastically tells him not to deny the world his artistic talents, he calls her a hag). Before things can get too ugly, a guy name Malik (Bashir Salahuddin) hits on Doris. Augustin and Patrick split.

Augustin is not ready to call it a night, though. Patrick heads home (to call an AIDS hotline; yeah, he's freaking out about some marks he's found on his body). Augustin goes clubbing in search of Eddie (Daniel Franzese). He doesn't find him, but he does happen across a friend of his ex-boyfriend. The guy offers him some GHB after Augustin lies and tells him he hasn't been drinking.

Of course, mixing the club drug with alcohol is a horrible idea. Patrick's ex Ritchie (Raul Castillo) finds Austin passed out on the street. He takes him home, giving Patrick the opportunity to ask Ritchie if they can get lunch as friends. Ritchie's heart is still broken from Patrick dumping him last season and politely declines.

Patrick blows off work the next day and gets an AIDS test. He's negative, but he tells Kevin he was freaking out about their affair. John urges him to call and talk to him the next time and finally shows Patrick the dance he made up to that Take That video. Patrick smiles.

I still say this won't end well. What do you think? Comment below and follow me @triggercric and follow @BWWTVWorld for all the latest updates, scoops and recaps.
