Last week we left Monroe in some pretty heavy trouble, with his friends racing to find him in time. Things are getting heated and we have to wonder - will they all make it out alive?

This week opens in the precinct, where Nick and Hank present everything they've learned to Sean regarding Riken being the Grand Master and Acker's involvement. Sean questions Wu's readiness, and they take him to an interrogation room with Bud - clearly they need the least threatening Wesen they can find in order to test him. Bud nervously tries to explain how a transformation occurs and when he finally manages to show himself Wu is startled but agrees to stick with them, starting by questioning Acker. He takes Acker aside and comes at him strong for abandoning his post at Monroe's, tearing apart his story and accusing him of being Wesen, which prompts Acker to transform. Though he's momentarily taken aback, Wu doesn't hesitate long before decking Acker. I am so excited to have Wu on board at long last! Nick comes in to assist and Acker realizes he is a Grimm again, but refuses to talk when questioned. Sean joins them and lets Acker know he's not interesting in playing by the rules, reminding me that I quite adore Sean as well.

Juliette and Rosalee sit down to compare Trubel's list to the wedding guest list, hoping to find the connection to Shaw, but they can't figure it out and call Bud for assistance. Juliette also tries to casually quiz Rosalee on Hexenbiest trivia, but to no avail - Rosalee is impatient to get back to work. Bud arrives soon after, having just left the precinct under Acker's watchful eye and with a rather obvious tail. He mentions one woman who might know something, Suzanne, and leaves to track down another lead - until he's hijacked and kidnapped.

Meanwhile, in the woods, the Wesenrein pull out the standard ceremonial skull full o' blood and sprinkle some on Monroe, and thus the Tribunal begins. He is charged with marrying outside his bloodline and befriending a Grimm, but before things get far he transforms and does his best to escape, killing one of the tribe, and is captured with only another charge against him to show for his efforts.

The trial begins again and some Monrosalee wedding photos are shown as evidence. He listens to the charges and the witness is brought forth - surprise, it's Bud! Poor Bud doesn't know what's happening at first but after seeing Monroe it becomes clear and he's ordered to testify or die. We all know Bud isn't the bravest fellow, but he does his best to babble incoherently rather than confirm his relationship to Monroe and angers the Grand Master. One of the Wesenrein men delivers a delightful fake punch to Bud - seriously, there was an epic gap between his fist and Bud's face, though the sound effects were spot on - and the Grand Master reprimands him.

Rosalee and Juliette track down Suzanne and she doesn't recognize any names, but mentions that her brother might. He just happens to be a cop, by the way, and OMG IT'S ACKER. The world, it is small. So Acker definitely knows Shaw, and after Juliette and Rosalee call Nick they bring Suzanne in to question her about the Wesenreich and Acker's involvement. Nick brings Acker in to watch - then informs him that whatever happens to Monroe will happen to his sister if he doesn't talk. Acker attacks Nick with no success, but when Sean approaches him again he admits his involvement and discloses the location of Crazyfest.

Back in the woods, the usually timid Bud is fantastic. He stands up to the Wesenrein about his friendship with Nick and denies Monroe's involvement. Monroe is then allowed to speak and informs the tribe they have no authority or knowledge of right vs. wrong. He speaks of his love for Rosalee and the messiness of life, and it is a truly lovely speech - however, pretty much no one cares and he is declared guilty, and sentenced to death.

The group heads out to rescue Monroe, weapons out and badges left behind, and arrive just as Monroe is about to be tied to the stake and Bud is to be killed. Riken isn't pleased to discover Nick is a Grimm again and things get chaotic - everyone on Team Nick gets to kill someone, and Juliette gets to try out her new powers. Apparently she can produce a Hexenscreech that causes brains to explode, so... yeah. After a sweet Monrosalee reunion, the happy couple chases down Riken and they take him down together. See, common interests build a healthy marriage!

As a cover Sean announces to the press that they've discovered a murder-suicide cult and made several arrests - aka the members of the Wesenrein who lived - and declares that the leader was Acker. In other news, Acker recently learned not to mess with Sean. They all gather for a celebration afterward, including Sean, Wu, and Bud, and with a police escort they take Monrosalee to the airport. Afterward, Wu relaxes in the trailer with some fast food and fascinating reading material, and Sean is quite surprised when Juliette arrives to share her good news.

Next week appears to be primarily focused on Juliette and her reluctance to tell Nick what's happened. What do you think Nick's reaction will be? The one thing Rosalee mentioned was that a Hexenbiest who was created rather than born is more deadly. Will Juliette be overcome by the beast within, or will they be able to change her back? In the meantime, check out the video and revisit Monroe's noble speech.
