BABE, RUGRATS Voice Actress Christine Cavanaugh Dies at 51

According to the L.A. Times, Christine Cavanaugh, who voiced the main character in 1995's BABE and played 'Chucky' in Nickelodeon's RUGRATS cartoon, died on December 22, 2014. She was 51. No details have been released on the cause of death.

Cavanaugh also portrayed 'Dexter' in DEXTER'S LABORATORY and 'Gosalyn Waddlemeyer-Mallard' in DARKWING DUCK.
Among her other voice-over credits were 'Marty Sherman' in THE CRITIC, 'Oblina' in AAAHH!!! REAL MONSTERS, 'Bunnie Rabbot' in SONIC THE HEDGEHOG, several roles in THE POWERPUFF GIRLS, RECESS, THE WILD THORNBERRYS and more.
A Utah native, Cavanaugh started her career in local theater before moving on to small TV roles in the '80s. She retired from voice acting in 2001.
