Ariana Grande to Drop First Single from Upcoming Album 'Moonlight' Shortly?
According to a new report from Billboard, Ariana Grande may soon drop the first single from her upcoming album in the near future. Idolator reports that the pop star's third studio album, titled "Moonlight", will feature a track called "Focus On Me."
Back in June, the singer shared a photo of herself on Instagram (at left) featuring the caption "Focus On Me." The site further reports that the single will drop in the next few weeks, meaning the release of "Moonlight" will most likely be before the end of 2015.A representative for Grande did not respond to Billboard's request for confirmation. Grande is currently touring North America is support of her current album, My Everything, which features five Top 20 hits. The tour is scheduled to wrap up on October 13th
Grande first landed at the top with her first full-length album for Republic Records, Yours Truly. It debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200, Billboard Digital Albums Chart, and iTunes Overall Albums Chart. Moreover, it yielded the game-changing pop smash "The Way" featuring Mac Miller.
One of 2013's defining songs, the single went double-platinum, hit the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and reached #1 on the iTunes Overall Top Songs Chart.
