Another Sky Unveil New Single CHILLERS

Rising British quartet Another Sky release their latest single "Chillers" today. The group have been steadily creating a buzz in the UK this year, earning raves from The Independent, BBC Radio 1, DIY, Clash Music and others. "Chillers" follows Another Sky's last single "Avalanche" and the band's debut EP Forget Yourself. The band have captivated listeners with their their unbridled cinematic sonics, anchored by political poignancy and lead singer Catrin Vincent's astonishing, otherworldly vocals. "Chillers" offers classic pop sensibility, alongside social commentary with tongue-in-cheek lyrics. It's a sarcastic pop song, confronting the complacency often accompanied by wealth. "Why worry 'bout the weather or nuclear weapons when they eat for free on a black card at Nandos?" she asks. "It's about knowing something is bulls, but reaching for it anyway." The message is universal and easily translates to the current political climate in America.

Another Sky have continued to affirm their musical prowess this year in England, headlining St. Pancras Old Church and with a sold-out residency at the Dalston's Servants Jazz Quarters this summer. Additional tour dates find the band on a headline run as well as a 10-date UK tour supporting Laurel.

Earlier this summer the band released their video for "Avalanche," which sees Catrin Vincent STRIPPED and baring her soul, evoking the emotional and deeply personal message of the song direct to camera. Catrin explains "Avalanche speaks of the toxic masculinity that bleeds into every other form of oppression, that causes white men with badges to shoot black men without, that causes women to live their lives in fear, that causes men themselves to live in fear."
