Anne Hathaway to Star in Limited Series THE AMBASSADOR'S WIFE

Variety reports that Oscar winner Anne Hathaway has will star in the limited series THE AMASSADOR'S WIFE from Entertainment One and the Mark Gordon Co.

The series will be based on Jennifer Steil recent novel which follows "a British woman who is kidnapped in Yemen, setting off an ordeal for her and her ambassador husband." No further details have been announced.

Hathaway recently appeared onstage at the Public Theatre in George Brant's GROUNDED, a one-woman drama about an F16 pilot involved in airstrikes in the Middle East.

She last appeared off-Broadway in Shakespeare in the Park's Twelfth Night in 2009. Before that, she starred in Children And Art on Broadway, Carnival! off-Broadway and in a UK reading of The Woman in White. The Oscar-winner recently appeared in the films Interstellar, Song One, Don Jon, and Les Miserables.
