Angelina Jolie Files For Divorce from Brad Pitt
CNN reports that Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from her husband Brad Pitt. The couple has been together since 2004. Citing irreconcilable differences, Jolie is asking for physical custody of their six kids, with Pitt having visitation rights.
Jolie and Pitt were married in 2014 in a private, nondenominational civil ceremony at their Chateau Miraval in France. The couple's six children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Viviennne, participated in the nuptials.
The couple first met while filming "Mr. and Mrs. Smith." The marriage marked the second for Pitt, who was previously married to FRIENDS star Jennifer Aniston, and the third for Jolie, who was previously wed to Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller.
