Amazon Orders THE AFTER Pilot from X FILES Creator

Amazon Studios has ordered the first pilot in over 10 years from The X Files creator Chris Carter for Georgeville TV. His new thriller THE AFTER is set during the apocalypse.

Carter's other writing credits include Threads of Mythology documentary shorts, The Lone Gunmen, Harsh Realm, Millennium, Rags to Riches and more. He's next project as director/producer is the feature film Fencewalker.
THE AFTER is just one of many new projects in development with Amazon. Among the others are Bosch, Transparent starring Jefferey Tambor, The Outlaws, Mozart in the Jungle and Koolhaus, plus five new children's pilots.
