Variety reports exclusively that Amanda Seyfried will once again team up with 'Lovelace' helmers Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman in their upcoming drama film THE GIRL WHO CONNED THE IVY LEAGUE. Chris Shafer and Paul Vicknair penned the screenplay.

Seyfried will portray Ester Reed, a con artist who "became the target of a nationwide manhunt after creating a fake ID and scamming her way into Columbia U." An article on Reed, written by journalist Sabrina Rubin Erdely, appeared in a 2009 issue of Rolling Stone.

The actress will soon be seen on the big screen in The Weinstein Company's 'Lovelace' which premiered at this year's Sundance Festival.

In 2004, Seyfried made her film debut in Mean Girls. Her subsequent supporting roles were in the independent films Nine Lives (2005) and Alpha Dog (2006). She also had a recurring role in the UPN TV show Veronica Mars (2004-2006) and she starred on the HBO series Big Love.

Seyfried appeared in her breakthrough role in the 2008 musical feature film Mamma Mia!. Her other appearances include leading roles in Jennifer's Body (2009), Chloe (2009), Dear John (2010), Letters to Juliet (2010), Red Riding Hood (2011), In Time (2011) and Gone (2012). She played Cosette in the blockbuster musical film LES MISERABLES in 2012.
