Alec Baldwin hasn't foresworn television after his recent debacle with his late night show on MSNBC.

The actor will return to host Turner Classic Movies' PRIVATE SCREENINGS on January 6, 2013. Baldwin is set to interview Robert Osbourne, who usually hosts the show.

For the original report, head on over to Deadline.

Osbourne is acting as interviewee as part of TCM's special 20th anniversary celebrations. In 2009 and 2010, Baldwin co-hosted TCM's The Essentials, which highlights a movie each week and discusses it prior to and following the screening.

Baldwin's MSNBC late night talk show UP LATE was canceled by the network following Baldwin's outburst at a photographer. Baldwin is well known for his portrayal of 'Jack Donaghy' on NBC's 30 Rock. Baldwin's Blue Jasmine recently hit theaters, and the actor will next appear on the big screen in Caught Stealing.

The actor appeared on Broadway this summer in Orphans. His other stage credits include Twentieth Century, Short Talks on the Universe, A Streetcar Named Desire, Serious Money and Loot, as well as off-Broadway's Entertaining Mr. Sloane, South Pacific, Macbeth and Prelude to a Kiss.
