According to Deadline, Adam Shankman has been tapped to helm O'LUCKY DAY, an upcoming comedy movie starring Game of Thrones and stage star Peter Dinklage.

The Paramount Pictures film, with original script by Andrew Dodge and a rewrite by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, follows "a con man who may or may not be a real Leprechaun, but who certainly passes himself off as one."

Filming will begin in April after Dinklage's Game of Thrones commitment ends. Disruption Entertainment's Mary Parent and Cale Boyter are producing alongside Dinklage.

Shankman's directing credits include several episodes of GLEE, the film adaptations of Rock of Ages, Prop 8: The Musical and Hairspray, Bedtime Stories, A Walk to Remember, The Wedding Planner and more.

Dinklage, who is currently starring off-Broadway opposite Orange Is the New Black's Taylor Schilling in A Month in the Country, is best known for his role as 'Tyrion Lannister' in Game of Thrones. Among Dinklage's other off-Broadway credits are Things We Want, An Oak Tree, Richard III, Evolution and Cinderella.

The actor's upcoming big screen projects include Taxi, Pixels, Michelle Darnell, Angry Birds and The Thicket. Dinklage has also recently appeared in The Angriest Man in Brooklyn, X-Men: Days of Future Past and more.
