As the front man of Grammy Award-winning recording artist Maroon 5, Adam Levine has left an indelible mark on popular music. Adam's talents as a guitar player and the primary songwriter for the band give Maroon 5 its signature sound. His heartfelt ballads and pop anthems have become part of the fabric of today's pop music scene.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Levine first connected with Maroon 5 members Jesse Carmichael and Mickey Madden while attending Brentwood School in Los Angeles. The band has since gone on to have massive critical and commercial success worldwide. Capturing its first of three Grammy Awards as "Best New Artist" of 2005 and going on to sell more than 17 million albums, Maroon 5's releases have gone gold and platinum in over 35 countries.

The band won over fans and critics alike with the hybrid rock/R&B sound introduced on its debut album, "Songs About Jane," and its double platinum album, "It Won't Be Soon Before Long," which included hits like "Makes Me Wonder" and "If I Never See Your Face Again." In 2010, the band released a third studio album, "Hands All Over," which was certified platinum. The collection featured two hit singles: the Hot AC smash "Misery" and the anthemic "Moves Like Jagger," which climbed to the No. 1 spot on the Top 40, Hot AC and Billboard Hot 100 charts. The track has also become one of the best-selling singles of all time. Following the release of the album, both "Misery" and "Moves Like Jagger" received Grammy nominations.

Maroon 5's latest album, "Overexposed," has quickly reinforced the group's status as a powerhouse in popular music with all of the collection's singles rising to the top of the charts. The third single off of the album, "Daylight," claimed the No. 1 spot on both Top 40 and Hot AC radio charts. In the process, the band set a record for the most No. 1 songs (six in total) by a group in the Top 40 chart's 20-year history. Most recently, Maroon 5 wrapped one of the highest grossing tours of 2013 with over $50 million in ticket sales. The band is currently in the studio recording a new album.

In addition to his work with Maroon 5, Adam Levine will be returning as a coach for the sixth season of the Emmy Award-winning NBC hit series The Voice. Adam made his small screen acting debut on the second season of hit FX drama "American Horror Story," and he will soon be seen in a lead role in the major motion picture film, "Can a Song Save Your Life?," from director John Carney, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
