Abigail Breslin to Star in FINAL GIRL

Deadline.com reports that Abigail Breslin is set to star in the upcoming thriller FINAL GIRL, from Nasser Entertainment and Prospect Park. Tyler Shields will make his directorial debut on the film which is being financed by Studio City Pictures.

Adam Prince penned the script which is based on a story by Steve Scarlata, Alejandro Seri and Johnny Silver. The film will center on "a pack of feral teenage boys who choose the wrong girl to be the victim of their final “initiation.” Prospect Park’s Jeff Kwatinetz and Rob Carliner will serve as producers along with Nasser Entertainment’s Jack and Joseph Nasser with Marco Torres executive producing.  

Breslin, received an Oscar nomination for her performance in 'Little Miss Sunshine'. She can currently be seen in Ender’s Game and will soon begin work on The Hive with actress Halle Berry. Her other film credits include Signs, Nim's Island, Definitely, Maybe, My Sister's Keeper, Zombieland, and Rango. She made her Broadway theatre debut in 2010 as Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker at the Circle in the Square Theatre.
