Fans of rising Country Music recording sensation Ruthie Collins might have been a little surprised to see one of their favorite singers in a new spot over the weekend on A&E! The Curb Records recording artist co-hosts Home. Made, a series of DIY vignettes that air during the Saturday morning 9am-12pm EST programming block on the network. It might be new ground for Collins, but if you have followed her through her social channels in the past, (such as Instagram and Facebook) you know that her creative spirit is not just something that comes alive in the recording studio.

Home.Made. is a series co-hosted by Collins to help with a dedicated, highly curated offering that takes the anxiety out of making a house into a home. It inspires personal creativity through the stories, experiences and passions of others who live and breathe it every day. From design and DIY, to upcycling, recycling and flipping, living off the grid or living tiny, to tasty treats or lavish dinner parties,Collins and Home.Made. keep it simple while empowering viewers to create the home of their dreams.

"I love all things DIY," beams an enthusiastic Collins. "I am so passionate about turning one's home into their own personal sanctuary. It's amazing to see what you can do with a few pieces of rustic wood (preferably shiplap!) and a little imagination.

"Projects that were covered during the morning's broadcast co-hosted with Danny Young included the transformation of a crate into an electronic gadget holder, painting an older chandelier with chalk paint to create a new and vibrant lighting fixture, turning a dining room chair into a vintage accent chair for the living room and using instant coffee to stain wood!

Collins believes that the experience will lead to more appearances on the Home.Made brand. But, she also is excited about her immediate musical future. The singer, who has turned heads with chilling performances on the stages of Stagecoach, CMA Fest, CMT's Next Women of Country and SummerFest, has finished her debut album and will be releasing new music on Curb Records this summer.
