ABC's "The View" averaged 2.971 million Total Viewers, 490,000 Women 25-54 and 347,000 Women 18-49, during the week of Jan. 29, 2018, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "The View" led CBS' "The Talk" (2.661 million, 396,000 and 273,000, respectively) during the week in Total Viewers (+310,000), Women 25-54 (+94,000) and Women 18-49 (+74,000).
"The View" increased its leads over "The Talk" week to week in Women 25-54 (+40% - 94,000 vs. 67,000) and Women 18-49 (+23% - 74,000 vs. 60,000). "The View" improved on the previous week (2.943 million, 470,000 and 340,000, respectively, for w/o 1/22/18) in Total Viewers (+1%), Women 25-54 (+4%) and Women 18-49 (+2%). Season to date, "The View" is posting gains compared to the same point last season in Total Viewers (+14,000 - 2.948 million vs. 2.934 million), marking its most watched season in 3 years - since the 2014-15 season.In addition, "The View" leads CBS' "The Talk" across the board, increasing its advantages
from the same point last season in Total Viewers (329,000 vs. 189,000), Women 25-54 (109,000 vs. 58,000) and Women 18-49 (70,000 vs. 68,000). In fact, "The View" is posting its largest season leads over the CBS program in Total Viewers and Women 25-54 in 5 years - since the 2012-13 season.
