ABC's TO TELL THE TRUTH (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 5.1 million and 1.1/4 in AD18-49): Despite following a repeat of "The $100,000 Pyramid," the season finale of ABC's "To Tell the Truth" was up over the prior week by double digits in Total Viewers (+16% - 5.1 million vs. 4.4 million) and Adults 18-49 (+10% - 1.1/4 vs. 1.0/4) to score 4-week highs - since 6/14/16.

At 10:00 p.m., "To Tell The Truth" topped the finale of NBC's "Maya & Marty" (which had the benefit of leading out of an original "America's Got Talent") by 24% in Total Viewers (5.1 million vs. 4.1 million) and 10% in Adults 18-49 (1.1/4 vs. 1.0/4).

"To Tell The Truth" was up from original programming in the 10:00 p.m. hour on the year-ago night by 2.1 million Total Viewers and by 22% in Adults 18-49 ("Extreme Weight Loss" on 7/14/15 = 3.0 million and 0.9/3, respectively).

Projections Rationale: Lifts vs. L+SD are based on 2015-16 season averages for originals (excluding the premiere). Returning shows: Profile based on same show (either premiere or averages for originals). New Series: Based on similar series.

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 49% in U.S. TV Homes. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which are increasingly not reflected in the overnight Live + Same Day numbers. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate Nielsen measure to gauge the size of the TV audience.
