ABC's JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE Builds for 2nd Straight Week to Best Numbers Since June

With its late-night lineup of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" at 11:35 p.m. and "Nightline" at 12:35 a.m. during the week of September 21, 2015, ABC was up for the 2nd straight week in Total Viewers (+14% - 2.205 million vs. 1.938 million) and Adults 18-49 (+23% - 658,000 vs. 534,000) to post its best performance in late-night since June - since the weeks of 6/8/15 and 6/15/15, respectively.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" (M-F 11:35 p.m.)
During Premiere Week of the new 2015-16 season (week of 9/21/15), ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" grew for the 2nd week in a row to deliver its strongest performance in more than 3 months in Total Viewers (+15% - 2.501 million vs. 2.178 million) and Adults 18-49 (+26% - 743,000 vs. 592,000) - since the weeks of 6/8/15 and 6/15/15, respectively.

In the 7 days of the week (9/21-9/27/15), the "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Youtube Channel amassed 27 million video views (27,059,977), more than double the number of views during last season's Premiere Week (+105% - 13,214,507).

Mean Tweets Live, the latest edition in the Mean Tweets series, garnered the most number of views on the Channel, with 6.4 million video views (6,448,900) during the week.

During Premiere Week, "Kimmel" generated more than 30,000 tweets (30,061), up 183% over the prior week (10,628 tweets).

Featuring guests Kerry Washington, Lea Michele, and Travis Scott on Tuesday (9/22/15), "Kimmel" received more than 17,000 tweets (17,453)--the 9th largest tally for a single telecast in the show's history. "Kimmel" was Tuesday's 3rd-most-social program on ABC, behind "The Muppets" debut and "DWTS," and was the 2nd-most-social broadcast program in all of late night, running neck-and-neck with CBS' "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" (17,747 tweets).

"Nightline" (M-F 12:35 a.m.)
ABC's "Nightline" averaged 1.595 million Total Viewers, 618,000 Adults 25-54 and 482,000 Adults 18-49 the week of September 21, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "Nightline" led CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.357 million, 550,000 and 476,000, respectively) during Premiere Week in Total Viewers (+238,000), Adults 25-54 (+68,000) and Adults 18-49 (+6,000).

"Nightline" scored week to week increases (1.442 million, 519,000 and 415,000 for w/o 9/14/15) for the 2nd week in a row in Total Viewers (+11%), Adults 25-54 (+19%) and Adults 18-49 (+16%), delivering its strongest performances since June - since weeks of 6/8/15, 6/29/15 and 6/15/15, respectively.

"Nightline" aired the week's No. 1 12:35 a.m. telecast in Total Viewers with its Thursday telecast (1.882 million on 9/24/15), leading every telecast of the week of CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers."
