ABC Names Emily Maynard as Next BACHELORETTE
According to People Magazine, Emily Maynard, the contestant who Brad Womack proposed to on his second appearance on ABC's 'The Bachelor', has been named the next BACHELORETTE.
People also revealed that production on the show will be moved to Charlotte, NC so that Maynard would be able to remain close to her daughter Ricki during the shooting process. Maynard's late husband, and the father of Ricki, was killed in a 2004 plane crash just before the couple was to learn of Maynard's pregnancy.
According to the report, Bentley Williams, the Bachelorette contestant who broke the heart of Ashley Hebert last year, is hoping to be one of the contestants on Maynard's upcoming season. Williams was known for romancing Hebert on camera, and then admitting later on that he had secretly wished that Maynard was the Bachelorette he was wooing.
