AARP's MY GENERATION Receives Two National Daytime Emmy Nominations

AARP today announced that My Generation has been nominated for a National Daytime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Lifestyle Program category for the third consecutive year. My Generation host Leeza Gibbons is also nominated for Outstanding Host in a Lifestyle/Travel Program.

Mining some of the most unique stories from around the globe, My Generation is both inspired and inspiring. The weekly, lifestyle series features entertainers, athletes and public figures finding purpose beyond the stardust, and living happily in their "second and third acts." My Generation is produced by AARP in association with Maryland Public Television and is available on more than 300 public television stations.

Under Executive Producer David Pepper, the My Generation staff is comprised of an outstanding team of top contributors from across the country and around the world. Award-winning veteran producers (Emmy, Peabody, DuPont and Edward R. Murrow) doing what they do best - crafting positive, inspiring stories about people who want to get the most out of life.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences recognizes excellence in television with the coveted Emmy, universally acknowledged as the highest honor in the television industry. Winners will be announced on June 14th in Los Angeles.
