A CHRISTMAS STORY's Peter Billingsley Pops the Question to Girlfriend Buffy Bains

US Weekly confirms the news that Peter Billingsley, best known for his role as 'Ralphie' in the 1983 holiday classic A CHRISTMAS STORY, is engaged to his girlfriend, Buffy Bains.
The 44-year-old actor has recently appeared on film in Elf, Iron Man, and The Break-Up, which stars his best friend Vince Vaughn.
In addition, the actor served as a producer of the recent musical adaptation of A CHRISTMAS STORY, which ran on Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre during the 2012 holiday season.
