Jenna Leigh Green and Drew Logan Powell Join Nolan Gould and Tim Realbuto In Film Version Of YES

Jenna Leigh Green, most known for starring as Libby Chessler on the hit TV comedy "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch", as well as Broadway's WICKED, joins four-time SAG Award winning "Modern Family" star Nolan Gould and Tim Realbuto as part of the principal cast of the new motion picture YES, based on Realbuto's critically acclaimed Off-Broadway play. Also joining the cast is Drew Logan Powell, who currently stars as Dash McKenna on the new Bryan Cranston Amazon series "The Dangerous Book For Boys." Powell will play Realbuto's character Patrick Nolan as a boy. Green will play Wendy, Patrick's mother, in flashbacks.

Aside from Gould and Realbuto, Ms. Green and Mr. Powell join the previously announced Natalie Roy ("The Affair") as drama teacher Susan Weiss and Mavis Simpson-Ernst ("The Americans") as Patrick's niece, Aggie. Also joining the cast is newly announced Kelly Kozakevich ("A Crime To Remember") as Patrick's acting student Lindsay and Cathy Salvodon ("Jessica Jones") as reporter Connie Becker.

Realbuto's two-person play has been expanded to include several new characters and locations for the big screen (he also penned the screenplay). The rest of the cast, including the pivotal roles of Patrick's sister Annie and talk show host Mark Bradley, will be announced soon.

According to press notes, YES tells the story of alcoholic, pill-popping, washed up child star Patrick Nolan (Realbuto), who is begrudgingly dragged from his nearly uninhabitable apartment by his sister Annie to see his niece Aggie (Simpson-Ernst) in her high school production of 'Romeo and Juliet.' Starring as Romeo is 18-year-old Jeremiah (Gould), who immediately catches Patrick's eye. Patrick, who was involved in a scandal involving a minor years earlier (which ruined his career and his life), decides to mentor Jeremiah. What begins as an innocent acting lesson turns into something much more dangerous, and a love affair of two surprisingly common minds. The destruction, or salvation, of the two main characters will last a lifetime.

Rob Margolies (SHE WANTS ME; LIFELINES) will direct and produce the film, which will be released through his company Different Duck Films. Filming will begin next month throughout New York City and Los Angeles. No release date has yet been set.

Aside from "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch" and WICKED, Ms. Green is well-known for originating the role of Ivy in the cult musical BARE. She most recently starred as Cindy Lou in the Off-Broadway revival of THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES. Her countless television and film credits include I AM MICHAEL; YOU AGAIN; SKIN; "Ghost Whisperer"; and most recently, "Quantico."

Mr. Powell made his New York stage debut as Realbuto's son in the Off-Broadway production of THE WEAK ONES. He then went on to appear as Young Weller on "Blindspot", before landing lead roles in "The Dangerous Book For Boys" and the film ROCKAWAY.

Ms. Kozakevich is most known for her work in the film TUMAINI as well as the TV movie "GIANT Support." Ms. Salvodon also appeared in THE WEAK ONES with Realbuto and Powell, but is most recognized for her work on television in "The Cobblestone Corner"; "Tough Love"; and "Jessica Jones" on Netflix. She will also star as Sylvah Lawrence in the upcoming motion picture NO STRINGS ATTACHED.

Although it has not yet been officially decided by the MPAA, YES will most likely be rated 'R' due to strong language, drug and alcohol use, mild sexual situations, and violence.
