The New Series | "The Hill We Climb" Project at Paul Hall

On Monday, February 16, at 7:30pm in Paul Hall, Juilliard presents The Hill We Climb Project, a cross-genre performance inspired by Amanda Gorman’s historic inaugural poem and co-curated by alum, faculty member, and violist of the Juilliard String Quartet Molly Carr. The event is free with an online RSVP.

Molly Carr, Co-Director A preconcert talk at 6:30pm is free and open to all ticket holders. This event is part of Carnegie Hall’s United in Sound: America at 250 festival. Amanda Gorman’s poem The Hill We Climb calls all members of our society to unity, resilience, and hope in the face of our current landscape raw with division and adversity. The Hill We Climb Project embodies those ideals, weaving together multiple art forms and artistic voices in a multidisciplinary, kaleidoscopic reflection on Gorman’s words and their continued resonance in our world today: uplifting and challenging ALL Americans on this 250th anniversary of our country’s founding to rediscover the courage and inspiration needed to overcome differences, unite as humans and build something beautiful together, no matter one’s background or circumstance.
