As the summer festival season heats up, WFUV (90.7 FM/wfuv.org) is on site for more live broadcasts. On June 20-21 WFUV returns to Croton Point Park in Croton-on-Hudson, NY, for Clearwater's 38th annual Great Hudson River Revival. After a Summer Festival Preview at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, the live broadcast begins at 3 p.m. with Los Lobos on the Rainbow Stage, followed by Neko Case. The Saturday broadcast will also include Angelique Kidjo and will conclude with the Citizen Cope Band's set, beginning at approximately 7:45 p.m.

WFUV's broadcast from Clearwater on Sunday, June 21 begins at 12 p.m. with Blind Boys of Alabama, followed by The Lone Bellow, Bela Fleck & Abigail Washburn, Ani DiFranco, Guster, and the festival finale with The Mavericks, beginning at approximately 7:35 p.m.

On Friday, June 26 WFUV travels to MASS MoCA in North Adams, MA, for Solid Sound, Wilco's Music and Arts Festival. This is the fourth time that Wilco has curated the festival, which includes comedy, film, and kids' activities, along with music, and the second time that WFUV has been there. WFUV's broadcast on Friday evening, June 26, will include a performance by the New Jersey/Brooklyn band, Real Estate, for the first time ever, a full acoustic set by Chicago icons Wilco.

"Live music is an essential part of the FUV experience," said WFUV Program Director Rita Houston. "We're grateful to these artists and festivals, as well as our funders, for working with us to bring these amazing performances to our listeners in New York and around the world."

Closer to home, WFUV will also broadcast two more concerts from Celebrate Brooklyn: Rhiannon Giddens & Joe Henry on July 18 and Willie Nelson & Family on August 12.

WFUV receives support for the Clearwater Festival broadcasts from Westchester Medical Center and for the Celebrate Brooklyn broadcasts from Squarespace. Funding for WFUV's ongoing coverage of live concerts and festivals comes from The Agnes Varis Trust, supporting affordable access to the arts, education and healthcare.
