WFUV, New York (90.7 FM/wfuv.org) teams up again with Celebrate Brooklyn! for a live broadcast from the Prospect Park Bandshell, this time with St. Vincent on Saturday, August 9, beginning at 9 p.m. The concert is the finale of both the 2014 Celebrate Brooklyn! season and the Summer of FUV, which has also included broadcasts from Clearwater, Bonnaroo and Newport, not to mention Jack Johnson at Celebrate Brooklyn! on June 10.

For St. Vincent, who was born Annie Clark in Oklahoma but now lives in New York City, this is a hometown event. Known for her collaboration with David Byrne, she released her most recent album, St. Vincent, to critical acclaim in February of this year. Time Out New York featured her on the cover of its July 31 issue, with the headline "White Hot."

"It's great to wrap up our summer of broadcasts where we began," said WFUV Program Director Rita Houston. "St. Vincent has released on the year's best albums. I'm so excited to share her stylized and stunning live performance from Brooklyn with the whole wide world on WFUV and wfuv.org."

The live broadcast is supported by Squarespace. Funding for WFUV's ongoing coverage of live concerts and festivals comes from The Agnes Varis Trust, supporting affordable access to the arts, education and healthcare.

WFUV invites music lovers to share their photos of artists, FUV staff and fellow fans at summer concerts on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook with the hashtag #SummerofFUV. One will be chosen to win a trip for two to the Austin City Limits Music Festival in October.
