Today, VanJess uncover the music video for their new single "Honeywheat."

Watch it HERE.

A downright sensational vocal display, the track illuminates the expanse of their range over sparse nineties-style throwback production. Meanwhile, the visual perfectly complements this emotionally-charged dynamic. The Avant Garde clip channels bold modern art with its unconventional depiction of beauty, spotlighting real and relatable physicality in all of its unfiltered and unedited glory. With a Last Supper-style set, it intercuts contemporary dance with vignettes of female empowerment. "Honeywheat" makes a headline-worthy statement. Experience it now.

The song remains a standout from the group's universally acclaimed full-length debut, Silk Canvas, out now.

Raised between Nigeria and California, the sisters comprising VanJess instinctually incite an inimitable style. Nodding to the nineties and turn-of-the-century hip-hop and R&B that soundtracked their formative years, the girls have transformed into a phenomenon since arriving with a string of viral covers. 2018's "Easy" [feat. Berhana & Leikeli47] racked up over 849K Spotify streams in under six weeks as OkayPlayer fittingly described it as "smoothed-out," and Notion predicted it will "be the sleeper hit of the summer." Averaging nearly 300k monthly listeners on Spotify, "Through Enough" [feat. GoldLink] crossed the 1-million-mark with "Touch the Floor" [feat. Masego] following. However, their debut perfects that style and primes it to pop off.
