The Bridge City Sinners Release New Single 'Kreacher'

The Bridge City Sinners have released the first single from their upcoming second full-length album "Here's To The Devil" set to surface in May. The track "Kreacher" is available online at https://open.spotify.com/album/6983s6JRoUY41s3Nnfszzu?si=EAuqGgW-QVK_RqCZyDsRTA. The album was recorded by guitarist Jesse Payne at LowShelf Recording.

The Bridge City Sinners take your grandfathers idea of traditional folk music and then flip it with a punk-rock twist. The Portland-based outfit play a rowdy mosaic of banjo, violin, guitar, upright bass, and ukulele. The music invokes the dark and twisted gothic stylings of bands like Devil Makes Three mixed with the punk-rock intensity of a band like Days N Daze that is ignited by the powder keg of lead singer Libby Lux's own unique brand of dark storytelling to set it off.

The Bridge City Sinners intense live show has become a must-see on the live circuit after playing dates on the Vans Warped Tour, NW String Summit, the Fest, Seattle Folklife Festival, and touring with bands like Days N Daze and Harley Poe. The band's do-it-yourself punk rock attitude and blue-collar work ethic that has become the group's backbone, releasing records on their own label FLAIL Records, merch store, and pressing up their own vinyl. The band also helped curate one of the largest playlists on Spotify with Murderfolk, a mixture of Southern Gothic and dark folk music that pays homage to the scene and culture where the band is deeply rooted.
