Steven Maglio Performs 1,000th Show at The Carnegie Club Tonight

Highly acclaimed New York Vocalist Steven Maglio, greatly regarded for his renditions of songs popularized by Frank Sinatra, will celebrate a career milestone.

This evening, February 21, Mr. Maglio will perform his 1,000th show at the famed venue, The Carnegie Club, where he has been entertaining for over a decade.

His crowd-pleasing and long-running nightclub act "Sounds of Sinatra" continues to delight audiences every Saturday evening at the The Carnegie Club, located in the heart of midtown Manhattan, 156 West 56th Street, New York, NY.

For his 1,000th time Mr. Maglio will wow the crowd with two shows back-to-back. "Sinatra: Remembering The Sands" at 8:30PM, followed by "Sinatra Songs" at 10:30PM, accompanied by the world-renowned 11-piece Stan Rubin Orchestra.

"I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to sing to the wonderful audiences at The Carnegie Club, and I am truly excited to celebrate my 1,000th show," says Mr. Maglio. "I have so many people to thank for the kindness and support they have given me over the past 10 years."

To honor this memorable occasion, a champagne toast will be offered during the first show (his 999th performance) to congratulate Mr. Maglio. Mr. Maglio recently released his latest CD "You Belong To Me", a heartfelt collection of romantic and touching tunes including "Good Morning Heartache," "Ain't Misbehaving," "Skylark," and "The Party's Over," all of which Frank Sinatra surprisingly never recorded. A very special thank you to producer Chuck Granata of Sirius-XM - Siriusly Sinatra, for his gracious guidance in selecting songs for the CD.

His previous CD "Songs for Sinatra Lovers!" includes eleven Sinatra hits, featuring favorites such as "Come Dance With Me," You Make Me Feel So Young," and "Nancy" (accompaniment by famed guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli.) The song "Nancy" was broadcast on WHLI Radio as well as other standard and jazz stations.

Many noteworthy personalities have commented about Steven Maglio's distinctive vocal gift. Talented actor Tony Danza remarked after hearing Steven sing at a Patsy's Sinatra bash, "I like Steven's singing because he pays attention to those minor details that make a song popular, and the puts those details into his own renditions. Mr. Maglio recently performed to an array of celebrities and loyal fans of Frank Sinatra at a celebratory luncheon at Patsy's Italian Restaurant, honoring the 99th birthday of the Chairman of the Board.
