'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' Has Second Biggest Opening Ever

According to CNN Media, the latest installment in the Star Wars franchise, The Last Jedi, made $104.7 million on Friday. This is second only to its prequel The Force Awakens, which made $119 million when it opened in 2015.

The film is not likely to beat the opening weekend record set by its predecessor (The Force Awakens making $248 million in its opening weekend), but the number is still impressive, and the film is receiving rave reviews from critics.
