Forlorn Strangers

Forlorn Strangers is comprised of five songwriters, each having their own distinct sounds & styles that blend into one cohesive voice. Their music is rooted in family harmonies & flavored with guitars, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, dobro, & foot stomping percussion. This is their second visit to the State Theatre following a performance in February 2017.

The band consists of sisters Abigail Dempsey (fiddle, percussion, vocals) and Hannah Dempsey Lusk (mandolin, percussion, vocals); along with Chris Banke (guitar, mandolin, vocals), Benjamin Lusk (banjo, guitar, vocals), and Jesse Thompson (upright bass, dobro, guitar, vocals). Thompson is a Lehigh Valley native, hailing from Easton. Since 2013, Forlorn Strangers has released two EPs (While the Grass Grows and American Magic Tricks) and has toured continuously across the United States, playing for an ever-increasing group of appreciative fans.

The Happy Fits

The Happy Fits are Calvin Langman, Ross Monteith, and Luke Davis. With their unique substitution of a cello for a bass guitar, The Happy Fits blend folk, rock, indie, and pop to create a new, groovy sound. The band's first single "While You Fade Away" from their debut EP "Awfully Apeelin'" reached #5 on Spotify's Top 50 Viral USA Chart the first week of its release.

Blue Heart's Revelry

Based out of Easton, Blue Heart's Revelry plays original, new Bluegrass, Americana, and Folk, with some Rock 'n Roll roots. Blue Heart's Revelry is Lucas Sutphen, Joe Burley, Dave Best, Dan Stevens, and Tony Marinelli. The current line-up released their latest album "Until You're Gone" in 2017.
