SG Lewis Releases 'Dark'

Today, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist SG Lewis releases the highly-anticipated new five-track project 'Dark' via Casablanca/Republic Records. The new record serves as the second chapter of his upcoming three-part concept album Dusk, Dark, Dawn, which chronicles the trajectory of a night out through its different moods and genres and serves as a tribute to club and youth culture.

While Dusk (released earlier this year) blended disco, smooth electro and funk, the second chapter in the trilogy Dark explores distinctly heavier yet still diverse sounds. Nowhere is this more present than in latest single 'Again', which sees SG collaborate with Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs to create a euphoric slice of deep-house. In stark contrast, previous single 'A.A.T' is a skittering, bass-laden trap/R&B crossover featuring Drew Love of acclaimed American hip-hop duo THEY, while new EP track 'Release', a collaboration with London Grammar's Dot Major, is a driving, blissed-out bass groove. Further collaborations on Dark include lead single 'Hurting (feat. AlunaGeorge), which was Clara Amfo's 'Track Of The Week' and topped the iTunes electronic chart, as well as 'Dreaming', featuring North London singer/songwriter Bruno Major. SG has previously collaborated with Col3trane, Raye, Ray BLK, The Neptunes' Chad Hugo, Gerd Janson, Conducta and more as well as producing Dave's '100M's' proving his worth as a producer not limited to any genre or style.

It's been an incredible twelve months for SG that has seen him sell out an expansive run of dates in Europe, Australia, Asia and North America, including two nights in NYC, Toronto, Chicago and LA.

Following his recent massive US tour, SG brings his live show back to Europe for a string of dates starting in late November including Bristol and Manchester shows and culminating in a special sold-out headline show at London Printworks on December 7th.
