Photo Flash: DJ Ruckus Celebrates Birthday with Rev Run at Ling Ling Club
Last night, (Saturday, Oct. 12), the Ling Ling Club inside Hakkasan Las Vegas at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino welcomed renowned DJ Ruckus and hip-hop legend Rev Run as they put on an unrivaled performance. Celebrating his 30th birthday, Ruckus was in good spirits as he made his way to the DJ booth at 1 a.m. and immediately got the party started. Addressing the crowd, he hopped on the mic and asked partygoers if they were ready to celebrate with him and the energy of the room erupted with excitement. Check out a look back below!
Nearing 1:30 a.m., hip-hop icon Rev Run took his place in the DJ booth and began to MC as Ruckus played hit after hit. As Rev Run took a moment to wish the turntable master a happy birthday, a dozen of beautiful Hakkasan cocktail waitresses appeared holding signs that spelled out Ruckus' name while confetti flew through the air and the birthday boy was presented with his cake. Filled with excitement, Ruckus admired his cake that resembled a turntable with a Hakkasan branded record and topped with his neon Beats By Dre headphones before holding it up high for all to see.
The birthday celebration was in full effect as the duo put on an energetic set taking clubgoers on a musical journey. As classic hits from the 1980s and present day took over the third level of the nightlife mecca, partygoers were on their feet dancing and singing along with the legendary pair.
While the birthday celebration continued in the Ling Ling Club, the main room was also filled with excitement as the international DJ sensation Calvin Harris spun his heart-pumping beats for the masses into the early hours of the morning.
