The Nashville Chicks, three awesome songwriters & singers, as well as accomplished actors, are individual successes becoming one brilliant musical light on the performance stage of the Spencer Theater.

Sherrie Austin, Kylie Sackley and Alissa Moreno blend their rich country/pop vocals in song, while also sharing their individual tales behind the hit songs they've penned for some of country music's biggest names (i.e. George Strait, Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill, Allen Jackson, JoJo, Blake Shelton, Colbie Caillat, Chuck Witts and Leann Rimes, to name a few).

Join us for an intimate night of top country hits performed by the gals who actually wrote or co-wrote the tunes; enjoy their authentic style, story-rich lyricism and melodic singing, and learn tales from the backside of song creation.

The trio will be armed with guitars & keyboards as they take Spencer spotlights at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 11. Excellent seats are available for $39-$49. Call the Spencer Box Office at 575.336.4800 or go online to www.spencertheater.com for tickets. A pre-show fajita & rellenos buffet ($20) is also available in the lobby at 5 p.m.

Sherrie Austin, who officially headlines the show, was named one of Nashville's "Most Beautiful People" in 2011 for her many performances (most regularly at the famed Bluebird Cafe) and for her efforts teaching the basics of songwriting. She got her start opening for Johnny Cash in Australia at the age of 14, and later, after moving to the U.S. and taking up acting, became a cast member of the TV comedy hit "The Facts of Life." She ultimately returned to the world of music, releasing Country albums with Top 40 tunes and starring in Broadway's "Ring Of Fire."

But it's the tunes she herself has penned that won the greatest acclaim, including the title track she co-wrote with Blake Shelton for his 2008 album Startin' Fires, George Strait's hit "Where Have I Been All My Life," and Tim McGraw's duet, with wife Faith Hill, "Shotgun Rider."

Kylie Sackley is a fellow Aussie starlet who grew up in the music business in Australia. After years of touring and being crowned the Aussie CMA Horizon Award winner (Best New Talent), Kylie decided to focus on her songwriting; at the age of 20 she jumped a plane to Nashville where her ambition sparked hit songs. Her songwriting credits include: "Nothin' 'bout Love Makes Sense" performed by Leann Rimes, "Sunshine and Summertime," recorded by Faith Hill, and "It's Just That Way" recorded by Alan Jackson. All three songs were top hits.

The music of Alissa Moreno (who was born in Albuquerque) has been placed in numerous film and TV projects. She also co-wrote the Grammy-nominated hit "Every Day" for Rascal Flatts and has co-written with recording artists such as JoJo & Colbie Caillat. Her many tunes have also been licensed to numerous film & tv projects like "Will and Grace," "How I Met Your Mother," "Guiding Light," and "General Hospital" and her first single "Far From Here" became the show I.D. for the hit show "Army Wives." Alissa is also an actress: her credits in film include her 2005 short film "Super Chicks," and she's an active vocal coach to a number of fellow actors including Ben Affleck.

So join us for an evening with a trio of Country's hottest songwriters and songsters and be inspired, Nashville style!
