Mia Moretti Releases New EP GET READY! for Summer and the Dancefloor
The Los Angeles producer performs at Pacha in New York City and continues her Ibiza residency at Nocturna.
Los Angeles-based DJ, producer, and international cultural tastemaker Mia Moretti has spent the summer building momentum towards her brand new EP, GET READY!, out today, August 21 via Spaghetti Moretti Records. A collection of five new songs and two remixes, GET READY! incorporates unforgettable riffs, riveting techno experimentation, and infectious beats. GET READY! simultaneously serves as the perfect soundtrack for a club dancefloor and a midday summer party.
The project features the previously released title track 'GET READY!' and summer club heater, co-written by hit pop singer-songwriter Sarah Hudson (Dua Lipa, Katy Perry), 'backseat baby' feat. Uffie, the latter of which was remixed by Radio Slave and Blakkat for all streaming platforms and Spatial Awareness exclusively for Beatport. Elsewhere in the tracklist is the bright 'Want You Now' and the lengthy, gospel-leaning 'Desire,' in addition to today's focus track 'Everybody' feat. Vonita White.
'Everybody' was recorded in the same session as Mia and Vonita White's first collaboration, 'Best I Can,' which sees the pair breathing new life into a forgotten house gem, reimagined 30 years after Vonita recorded its original vocals.
'We were just playing around at the end of the day since we had a little extra time,' recalls Mia on the creative process of 'Everybody.' 'I brought the track to Blakkat, who I've collaborated with on a lot of this EP, and I let him sort of go wild with the SHABOOM magic. It's a special one near and dear to the heart because I got to incorporate all my favorite elements of gospel house, jackin house, and classic house in one track.'
Fans can experience selections from the EP and other favorite tracks at Mia's recently announced New York City DJ set at Pacha on August 22.
Beyond the music, Moretti continues to expand the world of 'Chef's Kiss,' her monthly SiriusXM show on Diplo's Revolution (Ch. 53), which airs the first Saturday every month. This summer, Chef's Kiss Radio has landed in Ibiza, alongside Moretti's newly announced artist residency at the island's newest boutique nightclub Nocturna, a 380 capacity, no-phones, audiophile style listening room with an intimate dancefloor set beneath Los Felices hotel in Cala de Bou. The remaining Chef's Kiss Radio Ibiza at Nocturna dates are August 29 and September 5.
Throughout the series Mia is joined by a variety of special guests including Abel, Alex Kahan, Barbara Boeing, Heidi Lawden, Hen Yanni, Myd, Radio Slave, Scarlett O'Malley and Toy Tonics Crew (Kapote & Alot).

About Mia Moretti
Los Angeles-based DJ Mia Moretti has established herself over the last decade with a timeless blend of classic, vocal, and disco-driven house DJ sets. Moretti has secured the title of DJ of the Year by PAPER and has been profiled by The New York Times, Interview, and Rolling Stone. Her debut EP Tambor (2023) marked a remarkable step as a producer, showcasing female bullerengue artists from Colombia including Petrona Martinez and Totó la Momposina. Her work continues to focus heavily on sample use, including Letta Mbulu ('Sweet Juju'), Chicco ('I Need Some Money'), and Baltimore gospel house legend Vonita White ('Best I Can').
