Following its premiere as Annie Mac's "Hottest Record In The World" on BBC Radio 1, "Drum," the new single from Danish vocalist, songwriter and producer MØ, debuts today-listen here. The track was written by MØ, Charlotte Aitchison aka Charli XCX, Noonie Bao (Avicii, Charlie XCX, Carly Rae Jepsen) and Michael Tucker aka BloodPop and produced by BloodPop (Justin Bieber, Madonna, Grimes).

"Drum is about setting each other free," says MØ. "Whether it's an old friend, a lover, a lifetime partner or even yourself, it's about letting go in order to pursue your dreams, for better or worse. Sometimes we have to accept that we might not have a plan, but that we have to figure out our own s - take the punches and get stronger - and the same goes for those we care about."

MØ will embark on the North American leg of her world tour this fall, with stops including The Novo in Los Angeles on November 18 and Terminal 5 in New York on December 3. See below for full tour routing.

MØ recently appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" to perform her latest single "Final Song," watch it here. The track, co-written by Noonie Bao (Charli XCX, Carly Rae Jepsen) and produced by MNEK (Beyoncé, Zara Larsson) has reached more than 180 million streams on Spotify worldwide and continues to climb the Global and U.S. Spotify charts.
"Final Song" is certified double platinum in Norway, platinum in Denmark and Australia, Gold in Germany, Sweden, Belgium and The Netherlands and Silver in the UK. The official music video has over 40 million views on YouTube, watch it here.
Hailing from Funen, Denmark, MØ is Karen Marie Ørsted. In 2014, she released her debut album, No Mythologies To Follow to great critical success. Pitchfork described MØ's voice as "a powerful and versatile tool comfortable expressing emotional turmoil as it is wearing a f-the-haters scowl," while Consequence of Sound said the album is "a polished pop package that boasts bite as well as her refreshingly charming magnetism." In 2015, MØ teamed up with Major Lazer to co-write and sing "Lean On," which is the most streamed song of all time on Spotify, peaked at #1 on Top 40 radio in the U.S. and has over 1 billion views on the official music video. She is also currently featured on Major Lazer's hit song, "Cold Water," with Justin Bieber. MØ's highly anticipated second album is due for release early next year.
