On Thursday June 11th, in Miama, Flordia, there was an exclusive event powered by Pandora featuring a live performance by Cold War Kids. In the past year, Pandora has placed itself at the forefront of artist and brand partnerships due in part to its thoughtfully curated events with some of the best and brightest in music including: Jack White, Fall out Boy, Imagine Dragons, Wyclef Jean, Earlsweatshirt, Chromeo, Celine Dion, Trey Songz, Diplo, Charli XCX, Neko Case, Bleachers, Tegan & Sara, Aloe Blacc, Cold War Kids, Estelle, J Balvin, The Hold Stead, Iggy Azalea and more. Additionally, the 2015 Pandora Discovery Den during the SXSW Music Festival featured performances by 36 artists across various genres over four days.

Pandora has the unique ability to determine which artists will resonate best with local listeners by analyzing musical preferences, stations created, and thumbed-up songs. Invitations to events are then extended to Pandora listeners who have demonstrated an affinity for the identified artists.

Cold War Kids are a renowned indie rock four-piece based in Los Angeles. Formed in 2004, the band's breakthrough debut Robbers & Cowards was released to considerable acclaim in 2006. The darker Loyalty To Loyalty followed two years later, while 2011's Mine Is Yours introduced deeper anthemic qualities to the eclectic group's catalog. 2013's Dear Miss Lonelyhearts, featuring the hit single "Miracle Mile," was a return to moody, blues-based rock. The band's fifth album, led by the explosive single "All This Could Be Yours," was released in fall 2014 via Downtown Records.
