Kids' Music Legend Laurie Berkner's 'We Are the Dinosaurs' Book Set for March Release

Timed to the 20th anniversary of her chart-topping song, "We Are the Dinosaurs," award-winning and bestselling children's music star Laurie Berkner is thrilled that Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers will publish the song as a picture book on March 21, 2017. Berkner, "the Adele of the preschool crowd," (The New York Times) pairs the lyrics of her beloved hit with Ben Clanton's vibrant, playful art in We Are the Dinosaurs.

A former preschool music teacher by day and indie rocker by night, Laurie Berkner started marketing her music nearly two decades ago from her living room on her own label, Two Tomatoes Records. Today, she is widely recognized as a pioneer in the "kindie" music genre and was crowed "the undisputed queen of kindie rock" by USA Today.

Laurie Berkner is a singer, songwriter, lyricist, author, and founder of Two Tomatoes Records.
