HITLAB Inc. has partnered with The Recording Academy - internationally known for the annual GRAMMY Awards - for a unique opportunity to give an unsigned, up-and-coming artist or band the chance to perform at the 3rd Annual Social Media Rock Stars Summit, an official GRAMMY Week event, on Friday, Feb. 10. The "Emerging Talent Competition" was launched Nov. 2, 2011, and after original music was submitted to the contest's Web page (www.hitlab.com/grammycontest), Hitlab is pleased to announce the following 10 finalists: Snow Chase (New York, N.Y.),Cameron Ernst (Dallas, Tex.), Eva Jaiden a.k.a. Eva Luitsz (Almelo, Netherlands), KDrew a.k.a. Kevin Drew (Howell, N.J.), Tara Keith (Hamilton, Canada), Jared Lee (Los Angeles, Calif.), McKayla Alene Reece (Canton, N.C.), GeRon Roy (Philadelphia, Pa.), Jay Saint (Jersey City, N.J.), andHilary Weaver (Toronto, Canada).

Fans can vote for their favorite artist at www.hitlab.com/grammycontest, and the final winner -- decided upon by a combination of online voting and a blue ribbon panel – will be announced Jan. 25. The winner will be flown to Los Angeles to perform at the Social Media Rock Stars Summit reception, and the performance will be streamed live on GRAMMY.com and CBS.com as part of The Academy's three-day GRAMMY Live (www.grammy.com/live) coverage. The winner will also attend the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards and official GRAMMY Celebration® after-party on Sunday, Feb. 12.

Fans will be able to follow the contest winner's road to the GRAMMYs through the artist's dedicated blog on GRAMMY.com during GRAMMY Week. And by voting for their favorite artist at www.hitlab.com/grammycontest, fans will be entered to win the chance to attend the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards.
