EPAC is proud to once again present the Dave Stahl Big Band on April 9th, at 7:30 at EPAC's Sharadin Bigler Theater! Dave Stahl draws some of the finest musicians in the world for these concert events, and this concert will be sure to satisfy any big band enthusiast.

Dave Stahl has performed with legends Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, Mel Torme, Jack Jones, Sarah Vaughan, and Englebert Humperdinck. Dave Stahl formed his own band in 1977 and in April of 1987 produced Anaconda, a contemporary pop instrumental album which featured hits like Dick Lowell's arrangements of "Jump (For My Love)," "That's What Friends Are For," and Alan Downey's arrangement of "Saving All My Love for You." Stahl's collaboration with Woody Herman became a Grammy Award winner.

Guest musician with Dave Stahl's big band for April 9 will be John Fedchock, world renowned trombonist/clinician. John was lead trombonist, arranger and musical director for Woody Heman's band. John resides in NYC where he freelances and directs his own sextet and New York Big Band. Many of John's published musical arrangements are played by colleges and high school bands across the United States. His work as a soloist and clinician takes him around the world.

Tickets for this event are $20 and include dessert and coffee during intermission and are available online at www.ephrataperformingartscenter.com or by calling the EPAC box office at 733-7966 ext.1.
