Buck Meek Announces Tour Dates Supporting Jeff Tweedy

Buck Meek has shared the first new music since his critically acclaimed debut album, released last year on Keeled Scales. New song "Halo Light" is a gently rumbling rumination on "the afterglow of loss, humanity's ephemera, and the eternal nature of love." The song was recorded with Dan Molad and Pete Lalish from Lucius and Oliver Hill from Pavo Pavo. Brooklyn Vegan premiered the track, noting "it's a relaxed, lazy Sunday morning kind of folk rock song. Fans of early '70s Neil Young will probably dig this one."

Later this month, Buck will tour with longtime friend and label mate Twain, playing with a full band featuring members of Sam Evian. Following, he'll join Jeff Tweedy on his solo tour as direct support, breaking from the run only briefly to play SXSW. The full list of dates is detailed below. Buck has spent the better part of 2019 on the West Coast, charming audiences with his luminous storyteller songs, a collection dubbed "jumpy and electrifying as an ungrounded wire" by NPR.
