Archie Shepp Launches Kickstarter Campaign to Fund Live ATTICA BLUES Big Band Album

Forty years after the release of Attica Blues, Archie Shepp revisits this monument of jazz history with a new big band of 26, composed of a mix of experienced artists and young jazz musicans from the United States and France. The goal is to record the next two concerts in southern France and release a historic live Attica Blues Big Band album.
In order to raise the remaining funds necessary in the production of this album, Shepp has put together a Kickstarter campaign through which contributors can help the band make it happen - and receive a great deal of goodies in return.
Contributors will get to pre-order a physical or electronic copy of the new album as well as other great rewards!
