And The Kids Share New Album WHEN THIS LIFE IS OVER on Signature Sounds, New Video

Congratulations to And The Kids, whose highly anticipated third album When This Life Is Over is out today on Signature Sounds (Lake Street Dive, Josh Ritter, Dustbowl Revival). Stereogum premiered When This Life Is Over earlier this week among powerful descriptors including "youthful rebelliousness full throttle ... fuzzed out chaos ... mind-blowing." Today, NPR All Songs Considered praised the collection for its "music that has a honeyed quality to it but is still dissonant at the same time." And The Kids will embark upon a full headlining tour this week, featuring support from TOTH, Cardioid and more. The full list of dates is below.

The band has also shared a new video for "No Way Sit Back." The previously released song is a raucous, indie rock attack of the media's effect on minorities, and its video features an intense performance by And The Kids' impassioned members, posed against explosive imagery, created by Oskar Peacock.

WHAT THE CRITICS SAY

"among the scene's brightest creative lights" - Pitchfork

"effervescent escapism in response to existential angst,

with buzzing guitar and shouted vocals" - NPR

"youthful rebelliousness full throttle ...

fuzzed out chaos ... mind-blowing" - Stereogum

"And the Kids have always maintained a sense of playful rebelliousness.

Not in the sense that they seek to shake up the world, per se, so much as they choose to

live life fully, on their own terms ... It's an ideological banner they've carried through their previous

two albums and onceagain loft high for their forthcoming full-length, When This Life Is Over."

- Consequence of Sound

"a very catchy dose of mid-tempo indie rock, something that fans

of Lucy Dacus or Hop Along will probably dig." - Brooklyn Vegan

"The fun, colorful Massachusetts trio And The Kids plays music that's full of life,

with singalong songs and sometimes dissonant sounds. - Bob Boilen, NPR

"Each of their albums has been more refined than the last, and judging by the

electric lead single 'Champagne Ladies' this one will be no different." - Stereogum

"The group has honed its music into a catchy, high-energy blend of bold guitars,

rock-solid rhythm, and vibrant, layered vocals" - Wall Street Journal
