Against the Current Return with Two New Singles, ALMOST FORGOT and STRANGERS AGAIN

Fueled By Ramen recording group Against The Current has announced today's surprise release of two new songs - the pop-rock trio's first new material in more than two years. "Almost Forgot" and "Strangers Again" are both available now at all digital music retailers and streaming services; the latter track is joined by an official companion video, directed by Emmy Award-winner Kyle Cogan and streaming now at the official Fueled By Ramen YouTube channel.

"Almost Forgot' and "Strangers Again" herald Against The Current's hugely anticipated follow-up to 2016's acclaimed debut album, "IN OUR BONES," due to arrive everywhere later this year. In the meantime, the band has slated worldwide live dates - including stops in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and France - as well as a number of U.S. shows supporting their friends (and recent U.K. tourmates) Fall Out Boy. Those dates include Uniondale, NY's NYCB LIVE: Home of The Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum (August 29th), Uncasville, CT's Mohegan Sun Arena (August 31st), and Hershey, PA's Hersheypark Stadium (September 1st). A full scale North American headline tour will be announced soon; for complete information, please see www.atcofficial.com/#tour.

The band's debut album, "IN OUR BONES," immediately entered Billboard's "Top New Artists" chart at #2 upon its May 2016 release. Along with its popular success, "IN OUR BONES" also drew widespread applause, with Alternative Press declaring it "pop-rock perfection...a rockin' love-child of Taylor Swift and Halsey." "Superstardom awaits," raved KERRANG!, "and anyone who has a problem with that is hereby advised to get the hell out of Chrissy's way."

Against The Current have earned accolades and a faithful fan following with their brand of pop, rock, and indie sounds. Founded in 2011 by charismatic singer Chrissy Costanza alongside Dan Gow (guitar, vocals) and Will Ferri (drums, keyboards, vocals), the band quickly established themselves as an original force all their own with thrilling live shows and EPs including 2015's top 3 Billboard "Heatseekers" breakthrough, "GRAVITY." ATC has spent much of the time since either in the studio or on the road, headlining their own "Gravity World Tour" as well as sharing international stages with such artists as All Time Low, Good Charlotte, and more.

Against The Current has built a massive social media audience, with more than 1.8 million YouTube subscribers and over 289 million individual views thus far for clips such as "Gravity," now boasting views in excess of 20 million. In addition, Costanza is a major online presence all her own with over 1.6 million Facebook likes and more than 16 million individual YouTube views.
