ADÉLA to Add Manchester, London Dates to RED BOTTOMS Tour
New Century Hall and O2 Academy Brixton will host the shows as PRIMA nears release.
Following the announcement of her sold-out RED BOTTOMS Tour and just weeks ahead of the release of her debut album, PRIMA, ADELA has confirmed two UK headline shows for January 2027. The rising pop star will play New Century Hall, Manchester on 16 January before heading to O2 Academy Brixton, London on 19 January, as part of a new European leg of the tour.
Tickets will be available via artist pre-sale from 9:00am BST on Wednesday, 26 August, with fans able to sign up here. Additional pre-sales follow from 9:00am BST on Thursday, 27 August via metropolismusic.com, before tickets go on general sale at 9:00am BST on Friday, 28 August here.
Following the announcement of the Red Bottoms Tour in May, ADELA sold out all dates in a matter of minutes, similar to her debut solo live performances in London, New York, and Los Angeles less than a year before.
Due September 4th, 'PRIMA' is an unedited sound of a young woman who's stepped into her power. Co-executive-produced by Dylan Brady of 100 gecs, and Blake Slatkin (Rosalía, SZA, Justin Bieber), the album provides a three-dimensional picture of ADELA's artistry. 'I want this album to sound exactly like a 22-year-old girl,' she shares. 'I tried to express both sides. I mixed the hard with the soft, the vulnerable with the swag of it all, the muscular beats with the feminine energy. I did exactly what I wanted to.' On 'PRIMA,' ADELA explores more vulnerable sides of herself as she examines insecurities, toxic relationships, and classic themes of the female experience such as love, loss, identity, autonomy, and friendship. Rooted in her Signature Sound of pumps and pirouettes, sweat-soaked keys, and lyrics as intimate as a 3 AM text, she keeps her music grounded through her refreshingly unapologetic conviction to make it to the top. Speaking on the album title, ADELA shared, ''PRIMA' means 'first', which is perfect since this is my debut. Being a prima ballerina means you're the top dog or the best ballerina in the house. It's a term of endearment in the ballerina community. I'm trying to be the prima ballerina of pop, and this is my first step to achieve that.'
The announcement of 'PRIMA' arrived alongside her latest single 'Ain't In LA,' which serves as her first-ever Billboard Hot 100 entry at #85 (it now airs at #84). It joins her previously released singles 'KGB,' 'Red Bottoms.' Less than a year ago, ADELA released her debut EP, 'The Provocateur,' via Polydor Records, a dramatized story of a young woman willing to do what it takes to achieve her dreams. Since then, she's garnered praise from outlets such as Vogue, Interview Magazine, The FADER, Harper's Bazaar, NYLON, Rolling Stone, Cosmopolitan, i-D, and PAPER Magazine, the last of which declared that her 'fame comes as no surprise.' ADELA quickly sold out her debut solo live performances in London, New York, and Los Angeles and later opened for Demi Lovato's North American tour.
