ABBA THE CONCERT Plays MPAC Tonight
Enjoy an amazing recreation of the music of Swedish pop favorites ABBA when ABBA The Concert comes to the Mayo Performing Arts Center tonight, August 14 at 8 pm. Tickets are $29-69. ABBA THE CONCERT,featuring The Visitors, was formed in 1996 and quickly became known for its fantastic ABBA-sound and its stunning live "ABBA-esque" performance. In total, the group has performed in more than 20 countries around the world and has done more than 1,000 shows. ABBA THE CONCERT continues to be the Top ABBA tribute group in the world while dazzling all who see with their fantastic performance while playing the most iconic hits from ABBA, including "Mamma Mia," "S.O.S," "Money, Money, Money," "The Winner Takes All," "Waterloo," "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme,"and "Dancing Queen."? The Official ABBA Fan-Club has named the group "the best ABBA tribute band in the world."Mayo Performing Arts Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, presents a wide range of programs that entertain, enrich, and educate the diverse population of the region and enhance the economic vitality of Northern New Jersey. The 2014-2015 season is made possible, in part, by a grant the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, as well as support received from the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, F.M. Kirby Foundation and numerous corporations, foundations and individuals. The Mayo Performing Arts Center has been designated a Major Presenting Organization by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
