Deadline reports that Paul Sorvino has joined the cast of Elizabeth Allen's CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR. The actor will join previously announced cast members Nick Jonas, Isabel Lucas, Graham Rogers and Dermot Mulroney.

The thriller, penned by the writing team of Chris Frisina and Gregg Hurwit, tells the story of Doug (Jonas) who "gets more than he bargained for when he starts having an affair with Lena (Lucas), the young wife of an investment banker (Mulroney) renting the lake house next door for the summer. The husband's suspicious death reveals a substantial life insurance policy."

Sorvino will take on the role of the sheriff. Filming is scheduled to get underway next week in North Carolina.

Sorvino starred in 2006's The Most Happy Fella as robust winemaker Tony Esposito at the New York City Opera. His Broadway credits include the original production of The Baker's Wife, An American Millionaire, That Championship Season (for which he received a Tony nomination), Skyscraper and Bajour. On screen, he has appeared in Bulworth, Romeo + Juliet, Goodfellas, Dick Tracy, Reds and Nixon.
